Reactions to My Classes

Life's been busy and crazy since I moved into my dorm on two Sundays ago. I've been going to class, catching up with friends, and organizing my room. Speaking of rooms I'll have a room tour up as soon as its finished. For some reason all of the things I've hung have fallen down (not that I put a lot of things up) and I still need to get a few more things.

I though it would be cool to talk about what I think of my classes so far. Maybe I could do a review of them at the end of the semester and see how my thoughts and feelings have changed.

Intro to Creative Writing

I thought this class would have been really about writing but it seems like we will be doing more reading than anything. The professor seems really cool and layer back. There isn't much work either.

Informatics

First thought: super easy! Not only is the class only one day a week but its also every other week! We only have to write 2 little papers, ones a resume and another is a two page paper, a presentation, and some questions every other week from the textbook. I hope it stays easy.

Nutrition

Well I think this class will be my hardest and when I say that I say it lightly. The first lecture contained disaccharides and phospholipids things I don't want to think about. The professor seems really nice and I have a ton of friends in the class.

Research Design

I only have this class once a week and on the first day we learned things that I already knew. The things I didn't know where easy to understand. There looks to be little work to do. I'm kind of up in the air with this class.

Statistics

The only reason I don't like this class is because I have it at 8am two days a week. I'm not a morning person and I have having to get class and pay attention. There's also this guy in my class that ask a bunch of questions, which is fine, but he ends up confusing the class even more. He will also just shout out answers and comments.

200 Level Sociology About The Family

This is my favorite class this semester. I love learning about the family and kids. It seems super easy and laid back. I've already started reading the textbook and enjoy learning about new things. I made the right choice by picking this class.


Overall I think my classes are easy this semester, almost too easy. I hope this isn't me underestimating how hard they will. Since this is the first week I am on top of my work and reading the textbooks. We'll see how long that last haha. Let me know how your classes are so far this semester!
