Spring Break: Home Bound

When people think of spring break they think of partying it up on beaches with their friends. I'm not that fortunate and will be spending my whole spring break at home surround by snow instead of sand. Although I would love to be laying on a beach right about now I think this break is just as good. No classes, a whole house to myself (most of the time), and time to watch Netflix who could complain!

Since I know I'm not the only one who's stuck at home on their spring break I have some tips to make this time better.

Visit Friends and Family
I don't get the chance to come home much during the school year so I miss out on seeing the people closest to me. Take some time during spring break to visit the people you haven't seen since winter break.

Catch Up On Netflix
I have no time to sit and watch Netflix at school. Now that I'm home with all this free time I'm catching up in my favorite shows like Supernatural and New Girl. That's exactly what I'm doing right now!

Get Ahead on Work
Yes I know that doing school work on your spring break is not exactly what you want to do but it is always nice to get ahead. I spend a few eyes doing work and studying each day this way I'm not as stressed when I get back to school. Plus I secretly like doing work.

Work on Your Hobbies
I'm getting back to blogging (as you can see) now that I have time and painting some crafts. I might even do some smashbooking too. It's a great way to spend time and be happy.

Lay Around!
Yep I went there! Just lay in bed or on the couch for a few days. I know I don't get to do that at school so I am living it up now on my spring break. It's my favorite thing to do.

Cook and Bake
If you have the misfortune of living in a dorm (like me) than you don't have a kitchen. I know it is always relaxing to cook and bake so I'll be taking some time to do that while I'm home.

I hope you spend your spring break however it makes you happy. I'm going to go watch some more Netflix while I craft.

Lauren

Staying Organized In Class

In order to do well in school you really need to be organized. If you have a mess desk or school bag it's hard to find things. If you just have papers thrown everywhere you will lose things, sometimes important things.

With the new semester starting I thought I would give my readers a few tips on how to stay organized throughout the semester. Staying organized is the key to success.

1. Use a planner
Planners are my life. I write everything down in them from school work to sorority events to daily reminders. My planner with this year is one from Target and my planner from last year was a Lilly Pulitzer planner. I will probably switch over to a Lilly Pulitzer planner in August.

2. Write all your assignments down in your planner right away
As soon as I print out my syllabus I write down every assignment, test, paper, and quiz for the whole semester on the day it is due. I never forget anything or have to worry about going back and looking at my syllabus.

3. Have one binder to keep all your general class information in
I have a binder where I put the syllabus for each class along with a grade tracker and an overview sheet of each class. Its easy for me to see my grades in one place and for me to be able to take out the binder if I need to look up say a professors office hours.

4. Have one copybook and one folder for each class
I don't like to mix my papers from multiple classes in the same folder. It gets confusing and mess. If you have one for each you can stay organized.

5. Color code each class
At the beginning of the semester I pick one color for each class. I then get a folder and copybook for that class. I also write all of assignments in my planner in the matching color. at the beginning it can be hard to remember but class is what color but within a week I have it down.

6. Make a weekly to do list
I like to make a list on Sunday night of all of the assignments I have due that week. It makes me less overwhelmed because I am only looking at a weeks worth of assignments and if I need to I can look just at one day. Some weeks I make the list on Wednesday or Thursday that way I can work on it over the weekend.

These are just the main things that keep me organized throughout the semester. When you have a busy schedule and a lot on your mind it is key to stay organized. Tell me any tips you have to stay organized throughout the semester. I am always open to new ideas!

How To Do Well In College

For many people the spring semester starts in the week to come. I know I will be back to hitting the books come 9 am Monday morning! Last semester I did extremely well and I also did extremely well in my summer classes. My grades really improved since my first year of college and I think that has to do, in part, with the changes I made to my study and life habits. I'm here to share some of my tips for doing well this semester.

1. Stay organized
A messy room leaves for a messy life. It's that simply. In order for me to stay on top of things I need to stay organized. Tomorrow I will tell you my detailed tips on how to stay organized for class. Look out for that.

2. Stop procrastinating
I know everyone says this but its true! I started doing my assignments a few days before they were due and the difference it made was amazing. For one, I was less stressed and two, things were done faster and they were also done better because I wasn't rushing to finish them.

3. Read the textbook!
I never read the textbook because it was always boring and took so much time. Than I started reading the textbook and I understood things better. I was able to keep it up for more than half the semester and I would that my grades were better when I read the textbooks than when I didn't.

4. Find a place to study
Some people can only study or do homework in the library. Others can sit at their desk in their room and do homework just fine. I didn't really have a problem doing homework this semester in my room but last year I could only get work done at the library. Find that one place that works for you and go there the whole semester!

5. Cut out distractions
This was probably my biggest change from last year to this year. I got rid of things and people that distracted me from my work. If your friends are distracted to you don't do your work with them. If you are distracted by your phone but it away in a place you can't see it and won't hear it.

I hope everyone has a good semester. If you have any tips on how to do well this semester that I missed tell me in the comments below!

Fall 2014✔️

I survived another semester of college! Honestly its hard to believe that I am already 3 semester into college and that I am halfway done my sophomore year. This semester was packed with new things and feelings and events.

Grades
I'm not one to brag about my grades. When I find out my grades I hardly tell anyone or talk about it but this semester is different. I worked extremely hard and am extremely proud of myself. The goals I set for myself where exceeded beyond explanation.
Goals
1. Receive a 3.5 gpa: My gpa was a 3.807
2. Get no C's: I only ended up with one B
3. Possibly make Dean's list: First time on Dean's list!

Funny story about my grades: Grades were due by noon on Tuesday. I was checking and checking for days but 4 of my professor had yet to put my grades up Monday night. I went to bed knowing that when I woke they would be up and was pretty excited about it. The first thing that I thought about when I opened my eyes were my grades. I grabbed my phone and logged onto my school's website. It was a little hard with my eyes still half closed. The grades loaded and I literally jumped up and flipped over onto my belly freaking out because me grades were so much better than I thought. Sometimes I wish I had someone videotaping my life because this would have been so funny to watch back.

Friends
All of the people I was friends with in the Spring 2014 semester I am still friends with today. There are people I grew closer with and people who have drifted apart.

My roommate from last semester has drifted away but that's because we don't live together, aren't in the same major, and are both super busy with school, work, sorority and life in general. The good news is when we do get together we can talk and talk and its as if nothing changed.

As for my roommate from this semester, we are closer than ever. I guess that's what happens when you live together and both go a little insane at night especially if you are both stressed.

New Happenings
I joined the sorority of my dreams. I should really make a nice, long post about it but I have yet to. Its been a few months since I joined and it has been one of the best decisions of my life. There are so many great things that come with being in a sorority. It's opened me up and made me be a little less shy. I gained new friends and experiences.

Sorry the post is so picture heavy. I just wanted to share a little of last semester with everyone. I am grateful for what this semester has brought me and I can't wait to see what Spring 2015 will bring.

Reactions to My Classes

Life's been busy and crazy since I moved into my dorm on two Sundays ago. I've been going to class, catching up with friends, and organizing my room. Speaking of rooms I'll have a room tour up as soon as its finished. For some reason all of the things I've hung have fallen down (not that I put a lot of things up) and I still need to get a few more things.

I though it would be cool to talk about what I think of my classes so far. Maybe I could do a review of them at the end of the semester and see how my thoughts and feelings have changed.

Intro to Creative Writing
I thought this class would have been really about writing but it seems like we will be doing more reading than anything. The professor seems really cool and layer back. There isn't much work either.

Informatics
First thought: super easy! Not only is the class only one day a week but its also every other week! We only have to write 2 little papers, ones a resume and another is a two page paper, a presentation, and some questions every other week from the textbook. I hope it stays easy.

Nutrition
Well I think this class will be my hardest and when I say that I say it lightly. The first lecture contained disaccharides and phospholipids things I don't want to think about. The professor seems really nice and I have a ton of friends in the class.

Research Design
I only have this class once a week and on the first day we learned things that I already knew. The things I didn't know where easy to understand. There looks to be little work to do. I'm kind of up in the air with this class.

Statistics
The only reason I don't like this class is because I have it at 8am two days a week. I'm not a morning person and I have having to get class and pay attention. There's also this guy in my class that ask a bunch of questions, which is fine, but he ends up confusing the class even more. He will also just shout out answers and comments.

200 Level Sociology About The Family
This is my favorite class this semester. I love learning about the family and kids. It seems super easy and laid back. I've already started reading the textbook and enjoy learning about new things. I made the right choice by picking this class.

Overall I think my classes are easy this semester, almost too easy. I hope this isn't me underestimating how hard they will. Since this is the first week I am on top of my work and reading the textbooks. We'll see how long that last haha. Let me know how your classes are so far this semester! I love to hear from my readers.

This Year's Dorm Ideas!!

I love decorating and coming up with new ideas so moving into a dorm room is so much fun for me. There a brand new room for me to decorate however I want. I've been thinking and pinning ideas all summer. Actually I started coming up with ideas before I even left campus for the summer! Crazy but I was just too excited.

Well I'm moving in today and have decided I want to do things a little differently this year than last. Now I know there is a high possibility that things won't go as planned because let's be realistic here nothing goes planned for me. I can still dream though!

Keeping my bed as low as possible.
My bed last year

Last year I had no choice but to raise my bed as high as I could. We had no room and I had a lot of stuff. The bed came up to about my hips, which isn't too bad but is still high. My goal going in is to have as little things under my bed as possible.

Less things on the wall

I had a ton of paintings and pictures up. Actually both my roommate and I covered almost every inch of our walls. I want it to look less clutter this year and I really don't have a ton of things to put up.

I would love the window side of the room.
Last year I was on the wall side across from the window and it was perfect but this year I really want to window side. Its a dark room and I need the nature light to survive mentally so I want to get as close to the window as possible.

Keep my desk clutter free.

I had hardly any space to put things last year so my desk really got cluttered. There was a ton of pictures and boxes. Everything was piled up and just didn't look good. If I have a dresser to use I will definitely have less clutter.

My theme is pink and gold ONLY!
I tried to keep my theme with just pink last year but ended up picking things that didn't match. This year I am staying with the pink theme and adding in gold. Pink is my favorite color and I love pink and gold together. As for my roommate I am not sure what she has planned.

I am also hoping my roommate and I each get a dresser and closet because that will help us a lot. Really I have zero control over that and it depends on what the school gives us. Hopefully there will be a room tour up soon. I'll do it as soon as everything is in its place.

Lauren

First Days of College Tips

I'm about to start my second year of college and learned a few things about how to handle the college experience. I thought it would be helpful to my readers if I gave you the tips that helped me on the first few days of college.

Be Yourself!
I know this a tip everyone tells you but if you're being yourself and feel comfortable the days will go easier. Plus the people you meet will know the real you from the beginning and you won't have to keep up on act around them.

Remember Everyone Is In The Same Boat As You
Are you afraid or nervous for these classes? Are you lost? Is this something that's new to you? Well guess what?! Everyone will be dealing with these things too! They are afraid and nervous. They've never done this before! And there's a high possibility they are lost too! You're not alone in this experience and your fellow classmates know just how you fell. Hell the upperclassmen know how you feel too!

Plan Ahead
Yep it will relieve some stress if you plan ahead of the game. Try to look up a map of the campus or even walk around the campus and see where your classes are. Maybe plan a lunch date with some new friends or plan to meet with someone and walk to class together. If you walk into the classroom with someone you already know you will feel less alone.

Give Yourself Time To Get To Class
Getting to class on your first day is stressful and being late doesn't help. Leave yourself an extra 5 minutes in case you get lost. If you think it will take you 10 minutes to get to class leave 5 minutes before. You'll find out exactly how long it takes as the semester goes on.

Go To All of the Freshman Events
I know my school has 3 days of events for freshman students with fun activities and I'm sure every other school has something similar. Go to these events! They will help you meet new people and it will give you something to do. Chances are you don't know what the fun things to do around campus are so you'll just end up sitting in your dorm room if you don't go. I know I went to some of the events at my school and they not only gave me something to do but they also left me with memories.

Good luck to everyone moving in and starting college whether its your first year or your last year have a great start to the year! Enjoy it and don't let nervous get to you!

Lauren

Moving Back To School

I move back to school in 4 days! It's hard to believe that is long, challenging, and rewarding summer is coming to an end. In all honestly I feel like I never had a summer but that's ok because it makes going back to school after 4 months a little bit easier. I was thinking about what I'm excited to get back to and what I am dreading on getting back to come August 24.

Exciting Things!

Being free again!
Living at college has given me so much freedom and moving back home for the summer took that away. I'm excited to get back to not having my parents around all the time and having the freedom to just go without having to tell anyone.

My friends are a 2 minute walk away instead of a 45 minute drive.
This year all of my friends are in different buildings and parts of campus but since are campus is so small they are a 2 minute walk away. I haven't been able to see my friends all that much because of work, school, and distance. I missed them terribly and its so nice to have them so close at school. Now when I'm bored we can be bored together!

A new place to decorate.
I love decorating and I love having a place to do that. At home my room doesn't change and the decor is the same. Moving into a dorm is like moving into a new place so you get to decorate it anyway you want. I have some ideas but this year I'm just waiting until I get there to really go into detail. I do know my colors are pink and gold, pretty similar to last year but more of a theme.

Not having to cook most of my meals.
When it comes to eating I have cooking and waiting for this to cook. I usually wait until I am starving to make something so by that time I am just eating snacks and being miserable to have to cook. At college we have our food already made for us when we go to the cafe. It may not be good but its better than having to cook for yourself!

Dreadful Things :(

Having to go back to the cafe food.
Last year the food was a hit or miss, usually a miss. I was so excited to get home this summer because than I could have real food. Plus the food at school really mess up your stomach. I guess I just have to learn how to cook in a microwave again.

Six classes of work
I was in class for 13 out of my 15 weeks of summer so class isn't that bad but having 6 classes is a lot. I'm not looking forward to all the work but at the same time I can't wait to get back into the swing of things and have something to do. Call me crazy but I like having classwork to do just not 6 times the work!

Having little to no personal space
Living with someone else in a little room is never fun no matter how much you like them. I am living with one of my friends this year and we get along. But we have to share a room that essentially becomes out living room, bedroom, kitchen, and whole house for 9 months. Yes we will have a lounge but that is public and something I don't consider my space. The only good thing about my room this year is its bigger.

Having to pack up and move most of what I own
I'm one of the people who brings almost everything she owns with her back to college. I hate to leave it at home and need about 98% of it at all times. Its a lot of work packing everything up. What makes it worse is I'm a planner and have to stay organized so I stress myself out trying to make everything perfect.

Don't let any of these things scare you away from college. The pros outweigh the cons by a mile! Four days of summer left for me! I'm off to go finish packing ;)

Lauren

Graduation Gift Ideas

Even thought I graduated last year, I still have great ideas on what to get someone who is graduating. My younger cousin is the only on graduating this year and he's a boy so this gifts really don't work for him. I am going to a graduation party for a family member today (the idea behind this post). I have some diy ideas and some gifts you can just buy if you're not too crafty.

Source
A cute necklace about enjoying the journey of life. I love the idea of this one. There are also plenty of our necklaces that are perfect for graduation.

Source
Make a collage of pictures of you and your friend using her initial. You can also put the pictures in a frame.

Source
Everyone in college needs a tumbler. Why not get her a cute one?! Some other similar ideas are travel mugs and mugs.

Source
Make your friend a canvas. It doesn't have to be a Dorm Sweet Dorm canvas. It can be anything. Canvases are great to hang up on the walls as decorations. Plus they have more meaning if they are made by a friend.

Source
A survival kit is great for a high school gradate! They receive all of the things they need in a cute way. And they don't have to buy it! You can make the baskets any size and spend as much or as little as you want.

These are just five of my favorite graduation gift ideas. There are so many more you can buy or make. I hope the class of 2014 has a wonderful summer and good luck in college!

Packing Away Your Life!!

My little blog hiatus is the result of a busy end of the semester. I had my last week of classes and had a lot to get done in a short amount of time. I was also a week behind in all of my classes because of my grandmother's funeral. Technically I was in finals week but by some stroke of luck I had no finals. Yep you read that right, no finals. The only class I would have had a final for would have been anatomy but I dropped that so I had no finals. I did have a paper due on Wednesday but that wasn't really a big deal. I spent this week at school relaxing and getting a little final friend time in before we all leave for the summer.

I wasn't going home until today but on Monday my dad came because I woke up with pink eye on Sunday and he had to bring me different eye drops. It was really bad on top of being sick with a sinus infection. It's funny because the girl next door to me also woke up with pink eye on Sunday. I sent a lot of things home with him that day. Most of my clothes and everything I wasn't going to need for the week.

Since I packed up most of my room and moved most of my stuff out except for the bigger things I thought I would give you some packing tips. Hopefully these will make your leave less stressful.

Start packing and sending things home early.
I started sending things home about three weeks before I actually left school. It helped a lot because it was a few little trips instead of one big trip. I am a lot less stressed leading up to Friday.

Keep everything that is staying until the end in one place.
I had all of my clothes in different drawers but I moved them all to one drawer to make sure I don't forget anything. I also moved anything I was keeping in my desk to one drawer.

Start eating the food in your dorm room instead of eating in the cafe.
I have a lot of food that I am going to have to take home with me. It would be even more if I keep eating at the cafe or somewhere else. It's even better to eat the food in your fridge because that is hard to take home.

Use containers to pack.
I found it a lot easier to use a large container to put stuff in than small bags. It was less to carry to the car.

Keep the stuff on your walls until the very end.
This tips is really just for the people who are sad to leave. I am leaving all of my paintings and pictures up until the very last day because than it won't feel like I am leaving. Packing up the things in my drawers was easy because I can't see in them but the things on the walls I look at every day.

I hope these tips help you pack up as move out. It's never a fun task packing up your life and moving it especially if you don't want to leave.

Lauren

Learn to Ride the Waves

There are times in your life when you just have to go with the flow and take what life throws at you. I had a moment like that this past week.

For a few weeks now I have been struggling to keep my anatomy grade up and it finally got to the point where there was nothing I could do. I had to drop the class today. It was the last thing I wanted to do.

My grade was a 65 and we need a 70 to pass. After spending countless hours studying, multiple mental breakdowns, and being so stressed it is all over. I can breath again.

At the beginning I was really upset. I felt like a failure and even a little guilty. I felt like I failed at something I should have been able to do. My guilty was because now my parents have to pay for me to take the class over and I was leaving my lab partner on her own. I cried about it more than once.

I soon got over all of those feelings because its all for the better. I am less stressed. My grades in my other classes can improve now because before I was just focusing on anatomy. I have more time to myself. I sleep better at night and I wake up without stressing so much.

It makes it better that my professor only has a 60% passing rate and more than half of my class had already dropped. I am not alone in this. Everyone I have talked to about it has said it's all for the better and I haven't been judged because of it.

The reason I am telling you all this is because I hope someone will take my situation and learn from it. I'm not giving up on my dream to become a nurse because I had to drop anatomy. I am not discourage and I have even more motivation than I did before. Never give up on your dreams no matter what life throws at you. Work with the little waves life gives you. Yeah I couldn't finish the class but I am going to take it again in the summer at my community college where it is easier.

I hope my experience will help someone with something they are dealing with. Know that you are not alone and never to give up on your dreams.

Lauren

Deciding to Join a Sorority

As some of you know, my roommate joined a sorority in the spring. I also had two really good friends join sororities as well. Funny thing is they all joined different sororities. At the time I had no intentions of joining one. They really didn't interest me and I didn't see the big deal in them.

Well, my mind has changed. I have spent the last few months watching my friends go through the process and I have watched their lives change. After thinking about nothing but sororities for a few weeks I have decide that sorority life might be for me. I empathize on the might. Because sororities are so time consuming and are really a life changing thing I have and still am weighing the pros and cons. The reasons why I do and don't want to join a sorority.

Pros
You gain sisterhood: I went to an all girls high school that was extremely close. The girls in my class were and still are my sisters. Leaving LF (my high school) was extremely hard for me because I loved it so much. After coming to college I realized, well into the spring semester, I was missing something. Something in my life wasn't there. After really thinking about it, I realized it was the sisterhood. I really want that sisterhood back.

It looks good on your resume: Right now I am not involved in anything at school. I don't play sports and things like student government are not really my thing. Being in a sorority will really help that, on top of gaining amazing friends. I'm really thinking about what sororities will do for me in the long run.

The opportunity to help others: All sororities have a mission and have something they help with. My personality screams helping and that is something that I would love to do. I love, love helping people. The sorority I am actually thinking about helps children and goes to the children's hospital. It just screams me.

Cons
It can cost a lot: I am already worried about the amount of money I will have to pay just to come to college and that doesn't even include how much a sorority will cost. I am not an expert on the cost but I know there are fees to pay and then there is the crafts and gifts you buy for your sisters. Crafting is not cheap.

The process of getting in scares me: Yep I'm afraid of being hazed or being put in uncomfortable situations. Usually I am a shy girl and don't really like to be the center of attention. Although I have gotten better at being open and not so shy, I'm still afraid of having to be EXTREMELY social.

I have only told about three or four friends about all of this. My roommate doesn't know. My family does't know. I don't openly talk about it with anyone but my one friend. The reason I have talked about it with my one friend is because she is in the sorority I want to join and I don't feel like I am going against anyone when I tell her. I also haven't told my roommate because I would not want to join her sorority and I don't know how she would take it.

I still have months before I can act on my decision and my mind could change. As of right now I am all for it and just thinking about it gets me excited. I'm not going to say the names of the two sororities I am thinking about because I don't know how it will all turn out.

If you have any advice on this process let me know. All and any tips would be helpful and greatly appreciated!

Lauren

Being an Adult is...

College is a time for you to grow up and really become an adult. You are away from your parents for the first time. The normal things that maybe your parents would do for you are now your responsibility.

In the last few months I have come to realize just how much of an adult I have become. Not only have I become an adult but I have also been wanting to do adult things. I feel so much more independent when I do things adults have to do.

Being an adult is...

...Going to class when you are sick
...Calling the doctor's offices, banks, or other professional person
...Admitting you did something wrong and trying to fix your mistake
...Ignore that person you don't like
...Finding out how to register for summer classes
...Cleaning up after yourself
...Doing things you don't want to do
...Realizing what is important in life
...Walking away from a situation that is bad

What is being an adult to you? Have you don things that ale you feel like an adult?

Lauren

Second Semester of College!

My roommate and I

I started my second semester of college on January 13 and it's already been 3 weeks! I'm finally getting into a routine with my schedule and my roommate's schedule. The reason I like to know my roommates schedule is because we do so much together and its nice to know when we can see each other. So here is my schedule.

Monday
10:00-10:50 Symbolic Logic
11:00-11:50 Anatomy
2:30-3:45 Intro to Nursing
6:30-9:30 Anatomy Lab

Tuesday
9:30-10:45 Psychology
2:00-3:15 English 102

Wednesday
10:00-10:50 Symbolic Logic
11:00-11:50 Anatomy
2:30-3:45 Intro to Nursing

Thursday
9:30-10:45 Psychology
12:30-1:20 T'ai Chi Chih
2:00-3:15 English 102

Friday
10:00-10:50 Symbolic Logic
11:00-11:50 Anatomy

So Monday is my longest day with four classes and not being over until 9:30. Fridays are the easiest because I only have two classes and they are one right after the other. On Thursdays I rush from T'ai Chi Chih to lunch and then from lunch to English. I'm still trying to figure out the best times to eat lunch and dinner.

What is everyone else's schedule? Do you like it?

Congrats Bridget!

I just wanted to say congrats to my roommate Bridget on getting into the sorority of her dreams! I know it was a long week but it was worth it. I am so happy for you and I am so glad you got into the one you wanted. I know you will fit in just right and that the sorority life is for you. Here's to the next 3 years of your life in a sisterhood.

*Update*
After she came in and saw the banners she cried. They were happy tears and they were real ones. It was the first time all day that she cried and I did not expect her to cry! She loved the banner so much and posted it on twitter, instagram, and in her snapchap story. Needless to say my little craft made her the happiest.

First Semester of College Down!

Today was the last day of my first semester of college! I survived (at least I think I did)! Not all of my grades are in yet but they should be in the next couple of days. I am really hoping to pass all of my classes so I don't have to take them again. For nursing you have to have a C to be passing, which is a number grade of mid 70's- high 70's. The only classes I am really worried about are Chemistry, lab, and Sociology. They are classes that I struggled in a little. When I receive all of my grades I will post them but until then I'll do a recap of what the last 3 and a half months have been like.

August
I spent all of August moving in, getting settled, and making friends. Some of the friends I made in August I'm not friends with now and that's ok.

September
I continued to make friends and this time I keep them. I started going out to parties more and enjoying myself more. At the end of September I had a moment of weakness and will never drink as much as I did that last weekend. I really got into my class and all of the work started here. I started using Twitter this month and love it!

October
I celebrated my roommates birthday at the very beginning of the month. We and another month of going out and having a good time. During this month I fell for a boy that I have been off and on with, We spent a whole month together before it got a little too much. I had a 4 day Fall break. Two days of the break I went to my friend's house an hour and half away. I did have a little problem with my parents not being happy that I wasn't talking to them as much. We had Halloween at the end of the month and me and my roommate finally got to dress up as Batman and Robin!

November
November was a choppy month. We had another 4 day break for Thanksgiving. There were less times to go out and party. My sister's birthday was towards the end of the month. We started decorating and planning for Christmas. The Christmas music started before Thanksgiving. At times I wanted to kill some of my friends. Things ended this month with the boy. I went back to my old high school and had a great time. I saw some of my old friends.

December
Only two weeks of December were in the first semester. One week was spent going to class for the last time and the other was finals week. My two friends stopped going out this month and we had the only weekend there be a dramatic one. I started things with the boy again but as of right now its kind of complicated. I enjoyed two weeks at school before I had a month off.

There really aren't any pictures from December because we were there for such a short amount of time. MOst of the time was spent doing work and studying. I hope everyone who is in college had a wonderful first semester. Here's to next semester!
